TOM WALKER

Tom is a native of Western Kansas, living in Garden City most of his life. Tom attended Garden City schools, graduating from Garden City High School and Garden City Community College. He married his wife Lorene on June 1, 1958. They have two sons: Mike, Garden City, and Brian, Houston, Texas. They have three grandchildren.

Tom is employed by Western State Bank where he is the Executive Vice President. He began employment at Western State Bank in 1979 and will retire December 31, 2004. He has been active in many civic organizations. He is a member of the Presbyterian Church, Garden City Noon Lions Club, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Garden City Community College Endowment Association. He has been a member of the Endowment Board of Directors since 1980.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing golf and fishing.
