SHERYL J. DICK

Sheryl Dick is a graduate of Patricia Stevens Fashion Merchandising College in Wichita. She earned her AA degree from Garden City Community College and her BS degree from Friends University in Wichita.

Sheryl retired as Executive Director of the Garden City Community College Endowment Association in 2001, after working sixteen years. She is married to Phil Dick who is a retired CPA and partner of Lewis, Hooper & Dick, LLC. She has a daughter, Megan and two step sons, Michael and Nathan.

Sheryl is active in many community organizations and is a graduate of both Leadership Garden City and Leadership Kansas. She has served on the Leadership Kansas Board of Directors and was Alumnus of the Year in 2004. Along with this association, Sheryl served on the Governors 2000 Systems Enhancement Highway Program Committee and Discretionary Safe & Drug Free Schools and Communities Grant Committee. She was the Governors Representative for Kansas at the National “America’s Promise” Conference.

Sheryl is a past member of Kansas Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors, Kansas Film Commission Board of Directors and Friends of Cedar Crest Association Board of Directors. She is a member of many organizations, some which include, The Monday Club of Garden City, P.E.O. Chapter X, Southwest Kansas Live on Stage, Southwest Arts and Humanities Council, Friends of the Lee Richardson Zoo and the United Methodist.
