Pat LeClerc
Pat has lived in Southwest Kansas most of her life, coming to Lakin, Kansas as a nine year old with her parents and sister, from San Antonio, Texas. She grew up in Lakin, graduated from Lakin High school, married, raised two daugthers, Mona and Joni, and a son Gary. They also graduated from Lakin high school. . She was elected to five terms as the Probate, County and Juvenile Judge of Kearny County. In 1975 she married Gene LeClerc, a Trooper with the Kansas Highway Patrol. She moved to Garden City and worked as a Group Consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas serving 26 counties for over twenty five years. After retiring from BCBSKS she became a Health Insurance Consultant with Group Benefit Specialist of Wichita, which she is currently very active. Pat is a member and Elder of the Presbyterian Church, on the Executive Board of Women of Purpose and is starting a third term on the Western Kansas Community Foundation Board. She has six grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren two son-in-laws and one daughter in-law. Her hobbies are playing bridge and traveling. Her goal is to travel and see each State in the US.
