MARK FAULKNER

Mark Faulkner was born in Lubbock, Texas. He attended kindergarten in Littleton, Colorado, Garden City, Kansas and finally landed in Ulysses, Kansas. After Graduation from Fort Hays State University with a degree in Economics and Business, Mark and his wife Suzanne returned to Ulysses. Mark worked in the irrigation business with his dad (one of the four original owners of Ulysses Irrigation Pipe Company). At the encouragement of his banker, Judy Keusler, he obtained his real estate license in 1983. In 1986 Mark and Suzanne opened Faulkner Real Estate and continue to enjoy a prosperous business.

Mark follows in his son’s footsteps as a board member of the Western Kansas Community Foundation. Chris did an excellent job promoting the vision and opportunity associated with WKCF and encouraged Mark to get on board. Chris is currently obtaining his Texas real estate license and plans to work in the Fort Worth area as a Coldwell Banker agent. Chris’s sister, Stephanie, is a resident of Colorado Springs where she has worked for First Bank for four years.

Mark has continually promoted southwest Kansas and served his community in many leadership positions. He is a past president of Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the United Methodist Church. In his spare time he enjoys biking, flying, kayaking and barefoot water.
